The updated Skoda Fabia’s teaser has been published

Skoda has published a teaser of the updated Skoda Fabia hatchback, the official premiere of which will be held soon – in March this year at the Geneva Auto Show.

Information about the restyled model is not enough yet. It is known that the car will get a more dynamic exterior with LED optics and a wider radiator grille, as well as improved Simply Clever options. Rear lights are rumored to be like the the Skoda Karoq’s.

The apperance of a more modern infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is possible too.

As for the engines, no major changes are expected. The only intrigue is whether the motor range will include a new 1.5 TSI turbocharged petrol engine, available on the SEAT Ibiza.

While this seems unlikely, given that the Spanish model is built on the MQB A0 platform, and the Skoda Fabia 2018 is based on the PQ26 architecture.

A hot RS version is expected for the refreshed Fabia as well, which was abandoned after the change of generation due to low demand. Such a car can get a hybrid powertrain.
