The Peugeot 3008 Is Declared To Be The Favorite Of British Motorists
The latest survey of British motorists – owners of new cars up to 2 years old, has showed that they are more than ever satisfied with their vehicles.
The index of satisfaction of car owners for 16 years has been determined annually by the Driver Power survey. The Driver Power is the largest survey of UK motorists when they are asked about all aspects of car ownership, from acceleration and driving, to the number of storage compartments and the quality of the infotainment system.
The Driver Power survey is considered to be authoritative. The index of satisfaction of car owners this year is 90.94% against last year’s result of 89.83%, with improvement noted in all categories.
The Peugeot 3008 is the most popular car in the survey, its satisfaction rate is 93.88%. It overtook the Kia Niro and Alfa Romeo Giulia, the Toyota Prius and Lexus RX close the top five.
The Driver Power’s TOP 10 of 2018 looks like this:
- Peugeot 3008 – 93.88%;
- Kia Niro – 93.07%;
- Alfa Romeo Giulia – 93.06%;
- Toyota Prius – 93.04%;
- Lexus RX – 92.99%;
- Lexus NX – 92.90%;
- Kia Sorento – 92.85%;
- Toyota Verso – 92.83%;
- Honda Civic – 92.50%;
- Skoda Octavia – 92.45%.
According to David Peel, managing director of Peugeot UK, the Peugeot 3008 crossover has won 38 awards around the world, but the “2018 Car of the Year ” title from Driver Power is the award especially valuable and important.
