The First Render Of The New Jeep Scrambler Has Appeared
Fans of Jeep are awaiting patiently for the revival of the iconic Scrambler model. The first render at last has appeared, giving an idea of what it would be. The debut of the novelty is scheduled for 2019.
The concept presented at the JeepScramblerForum looks ready for road. It is based on the JL Jeep Wrangler. The front part, wheels, headlights, fog lamps are taken from a standard Jeep.
The rear part also seems quite ready for production. The hourglass-shaped taillights are borrowed from the Wrangler too.
With the Wrangler, the new Scrambler shares not only a number of visual components, but also a motor range. A petrol two-liter turbo V4 and a V6 of 3.6 liters are expected, and presumably, a three-liter six-cylinder turbo diesel.
Later, the plug-in hybrid version will be available. All motors are combined with the all-wheel drive system, six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmissions.
A Rubicon variant with more capability and features like locking differentials and a sway bar disconnect is not excluded.
