The Dacia Lodgy Minivan Will Turn Into A Crossover
As SUVs (crossovers and offroaders) have been steadily gaining popularity, some automakers begin to abandon minivans in favor of crossovers. So, for example, the Dacia / Renault Lodgy in the coming years can change the bodywork, the German Auto Bild reports.
The next generation of the model should become a budget crossover, and will presumably cost from 13,500 euros. The Dacia / Renault Lodgy SUV will go on sale in 2020.
It will be a big seven-seater near five meters long. It will share the platform with the Clio 5 hatchback and the all-terrain Captur 2.
It is expected the engine lineup will include two petrol and two diesel units: petrol 1.6-liter 115-hp and turbo of 1.3 liters and 125 hp, as well as 1.5-liter 90- and 110-hp diesel motors.
