Taking Orders For The New Mercedes-Benz A-Class Has Started In Europe
The Mercedes A-Class hatchback of the new fourth generation is already available for order in European dealership of the brand. The Mercedes’s smallest model is offered in Germany at a price of €30,231 ($37,262) for the base A200 package with a 1.3 liter gas turbo motor.
The initial trim level includes 16-inch steel wheels with hubcaps, halogen lights, a digital instrument cluster, a 7-inch infotainment screen, fabric upholstery and a one-zone automatic climate control.
A cruise control, a rain sensor, selectable driving modes, remote control and a multifunction sports steering wheel are available in standard.
The A250 package will cost €36,461 (about $ 44,941), for this money customers will receive steel wheels with hubcaps, a 2.0-liter engine with a capacity of 224 hp / 165 kW (to replace a 1.3-liter one), compatible exclusively with a 7-speed automatic double-clutch transmission. A diesel A180d version costs 31,398 euros. It is equipped with a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder Renault-Nissan motor of 116 hp (85 kW).
Supplies to European markets will begin in May this year. Over the next 12 months, the new A-Class will also be available in Edition 1 for all engine variants, with numerous highlights in green in interior and exterior and an extended standard equipment package that is complemented by adaptive LED headlamps, sports seats and ambience lighting.
Mercedes will offer its customers two navigation packages. The base one will cost €1,356. It includes navigation functions, a life traffic information system, a touchpad and voice control. The Premium Navigation package, priced at €3,016, includes an upgraded infotainment system with two 10.25-inch screens, as well as digital radio and a traffic sign assist.
