Spies Spotted The Updated Kia Sportage Without Camouflage On The Nürburgring Track

Next spy photos of the updated 2019 KIA Sportage SUV have appeared. This time – without camouflage during the road tests on the Nürburgring race track. The world premiere is expected in October at the Paris Motor Show.

The current generation of the Kia Sportage has been on the market for more than 2 years. The manufacturer is preparing a scheduled facelift, which will be launched after 4 years of the life cycle. At this stage, the body of the model will not be dramatically changed.

Judging by the photos, the changes in the exterior are not great. The model will receive upgraded optics (new configuration of headlamps and taillights), new front and rear bumpers and additional chrome trim.

In the cabin it is expected a new information and entertainment system, a number of new electronic driver assistants and safety functions.

The car’s fuel economy will be improved thanks to the mild-hybrid 48-volt powertrain.
