A small Hyundai Kona SUV has got an all-electric version
Today, on February 7, Hyundai Motor for the first time has showed a video teaser of an all-electric version of its compact Hyundai Kona SUV. This is the second electric car of the South Korean brand. The official debut will be held on February 27, 2018 in Seoul.
With this model Hyundai expects to become the first brand in Europe, which will bring to market a compact electric crossover. Sales of the Hyundai Kona Electric start in the summer of 2018. At the upcoming Motor Show in Geneva in March, the novelty will be presented to the public.
The model will be available with two batteries of different capacities, to choose from. The maximum driving range according to WLTC is 470 km.
The vehicle’s equipment will include a wide range of modern options, in particular a HeadUp-display, a multimedia system that integrates Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Krell premium audio system, an advanced SmartSense active safety system and others.
