SEAT will present in Geneva a Skoda Kodiaq’s relative
The first seven-seat SUV of the Spanish automaker SEAT S.A. is being prepared for the premiere at the International Auto Show, which will be held from 8 to 18 March 2018 in Swiss Geneva.
It will be the brand’s largest vehicle, the Skoda Kodiaq’s ‘close relative’ built on the same MQB platform.
Ii is traditional for SEAT to give its models names in honor of the towns of Spain. The name for the novelty was chosen by the fans of the brand, four variants were selected: Aranda, Avila, Alboran and Tarraco. The latter, apparently, will become the name of the new SUV – the SEAT Tarraco.
The car will have up to 4700 mm in length and a wheelbase of 2791 mm. The motor range will include turbo-charged units: petrol 1.5-liter 150-hp and 2.0-liter 190-hp, as well as 2-liter diesel ones which output 150 or 190 hp, combined with a system of front or all-wheel drive.
In the future, the hot and hybrid versions of the model are expected.
