Peugeot 508 Wagon Will Be Presented In October
The Peugeot 508 wagon will be presented at the Motor Show in Paris in October 2018. This is reported by Autobild, although there is still no official confirmation from the automaker.
Not so long ago, in March, on the auto show in Geneva, the Peugeot 508 liftback of the new generation successfully debuted. The audience liked it, and soon it will be launched into the series production.
The Peugeot 508 wagon is expected to retain the same expressive exterior and interior, but it will become more practical than a sedan. Many stylistic elements of the latter will be borrowed by the wagon, in particular the same front panel, but there will be longer roof and another rear part, though stylish too.
Perhaps to save a beautiful appearance, they have to sacrifice some potential space. The liftback’s luggage compartment is 487 liters with a rear seats up. In the wagon the cargo space should be more.
As for the motor range, it probably will not be changed: the same petrol engines with 177 and 22 hp and three diesels with 128, 158 and 176 hp, as in the current model. Later, there will be a variant with plug-in hybrid powertrain.
