Nissan Extends The Geography Of Sales Of The New Leaf
The second-generation Nissan Leaf electric car is so popular that the automaker intends to expand the geography of sales and bring the model to markets where it was not previously present.
We are talking about Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand. This year motorists in more than 60 countries will be able to purchase the Nissan Leaf.
The car has been launched in production at the brand’s plants in the US, Japan and the UK. The cost in the EU, for instance, in Germany starts from €31,950.
The Nissan Leaf of the new generation is equipped with a 150-horsepower electric motor and a battery of 40 kWh (later a 60 kWh-version will be available).
The car accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds and gains the maximum speed of 144 km/h. The real driving range on one charge is about 240 km.
