A new 2019 Audi A1 is seen on winter tests
Audi will present the next generation of its smallest model in a few months. The 2019 Audi A1 is undergoing a final pre-production test so far. Recently the novelty has been noticed on winter tests.
What is already known about the new Audi A1? It is based on the MQB A0 modular platform. Compared with the current version, the length of the wheelbase will noticeably (+90 mm) increase. As a consequence, there will be a large space for the rear passengers and the volume of the trunk (up to 350 liters).
The second A1 is expected to have a digital instrument panel, as well as a wide range of personalization options for the interior.
According to insiders, the hot S1 modification will have an engine of 250 hp and becomes one of the most powerful vehicles in the segment of small hatchbacks.
As for the “civil” side of the power range, it will include 1.0 TFSI and 1.5 TSI engines. The car will also be available with diesel motors, although there have been rumors that Audi will no longer offer them for the A1.
