Mercedes Has Refreshed The C-Class: Now There Are Two Hybrid Versions
Mercedes has presented an upgraded version of the C-Class at the Geneva Motor Show. The main innovation is two hybrid powertrains, which supplemented the power lineup of the model.
In the new system an electric motor can be combined with a petrol or diesel one. It is reported that the powertrain’s capacity has increased by about 40 hp. The driving range on a single electric traction is still about 30 km.
The motor range also includes three diesel engines of 150, 194 and 243 hp, as well as three petrol ones (156, 190 and 243 hp). A hot AMG version will also be offered, but later.
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a little refreshed outside. The interior remained practically unchanged.
From now on, all versions of the model have a new 12.3-inch high-resolution instrument panel, a revised multi-functional steering wheel with a touchpad and a 10.25-inch touchscreen of the infotainment system – the same as the S-Class flagship’s.
The upgraded C-Class will be available for sale this spring. Its approximate price is from 35,000 euros.
