The Hyundai Kona and i30 Fastback won a prestigious design award
Two new Hyundai’s models – the Kona SUV and the i30 fastback won the prestigious international design competition iF Design Awards. On March 9, 2018 they will be officially awarded at the event in Munich (Germany).
The iF Design Awards logo is a kind of quality mark. Both models were awarded “for expressive and elegant style”. The jury was represented by 50 experts from different countries.
These two are not the first rewards of Hyundai Motor, the company has already been awarded three times for design: in 2015 – the Hyundai i20 model, in 2016 – the Hyundai Tucson, in 2017 – the Hyundai i30, and in 2018 the Kona and i30 Fastback models ensured the automaker’s success in this area.
The Hyundai i30 Fastback is the brand’s first passenger car in the fastback body, which combines comfort and sportiness. It features an elongated bonnet, the roof line elegantly sloping to the rear rack, passing to a trunk lid truncated.
The model has advanced systems of active safety and driver assistance – Hyundai SmartSense. The motor range includes two petrol 1.0- and 1.4-liter turbo ones – the same as the Hyundai i30 hatchback of the new generation is equipped with.
The new Hyundai Kona SUV is a car with progressive design, premium features and the latest developments in the field of safety. It is equipped with dual LED headlights, a two-color roof, the newest Hyundai engines, a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
You can select the body color from 10 options, all-wheel drive is offered as an option.
