The Ford’s sports division has introduced its first crossover
Ford Performance, the sports division of the US brand, has introduced a hot ST version of the Edge SUV. The car got an all-wheel drive system with a powerful 6-cylinder turbo engine of 2.7 liters, which outputs 340 hp (515 Nm of torque).
The equipment of the Ford Edge ST included paddle shift switches, a sports suspension, 21-inch wheels, reinforced brakes, a reconfigured exhaust system, an aerodynamic body kit, a modified radiator grille.
The cabin has comfortable sports seats with modernized lateral support.
Among the assistance systems for the driver it’s worth noting a maneuvering system, an automatic braking after the collision and an adaptive cruise control with options of full stop and hold in the lane.
We can add that ST-modifications are also available in popular Ford Focus and Ford Fiesta hatchbacks.
