What Has Ford Brought To The Geneva Motor Show?
At the international auto show taking place these days in Geneva, Ford demonstrates the Mustang Bullitt special edition, the updated Edge crossover, the Active off-road version of the compact 5-door KA+ hatchback and the modified Tourneo van.
The new Ford Mustang Bullitt was created in honor of the 50th anniversary of the famous film “Bullitt” with Steve McQueen in the title role. The production of the model for the European market starts at the beginning of this summer.
For the car there are two options of body color: Shadow Black and classic Dark Highland Green.
The car is equipped with a powerful 5-liter 464-hp V8 engine (529 Nm of torque), paired with a manual gearbox with a new technology to synchronize engine revs when switching gear rev-matching.
The sports ST-Line version of the updated Ford Edge SUV has received advanced technologies of driver assistance based on a camera and multiple sensors, a new 2.0-liter diesel turbo EcoBlue motor up to 238 hp combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission, and a premium level of comfort. This is the most hi-tech modification of such class of the SUV in the history of Ford.
The new Active version of the KA+ hatchback features an aggressive appearance, increased ground clearance, unique suspension settings, a changed radiator grille. The interior has an exclusive finish and a rich set of standard equipment. For the first time for the KA+ family, the car is equipped with a diesel engine.
At the Geneva Motor Show Ford also introduces a completely renewed family of dynamic and spacious Tourneo vans. The Tourneo Courier, Tourneo Connect and the Tourneo Custom are made in a modern style, equipped with an impressive list of options for transforming the interior and advanced powertrains.
