China: The TOP 5 Most Popular Models In February
China’s automobile market is the largest in the world. For example, Volkswagen’s sales volume in this country only in February 2018 amounted to 180,000 cars – this is roughly the volume of the entire car market in France. Which models became the most popular in China in the last month of winter?

The Volkswagen Lavida and the Toyota Corolla followed next in the TOP 5. The first model was sold in 25,460 units, the second one in 21,950.
As for the brands, Volkswagen had 180,000 sales, Geely – 106,000, Honda – 79,000, Baojun – 77,000, and Changan – 69,000.
It is interesting to note the real breakthrough of Geely. The brand not only became the second in the largest car market in the world, but also improved the result of last year’s February by 19.3% at once. This is very much for China.
In addition, in 2018 the cars under a new Lynk & Co luxury brand are sold in China, which belongs to Geely. It is with this brand that the Chinese company intends to conquer Europe and the United States in the near future.
